Our Mission
MasterConverter was built to solve a simple problem: most file conversion sites on the internet are bloated with intrusive popups, deceptive download buttons, forced account registrations, or third-party tracking cookies.
We designed MasterConverter as an engineer-first utility platform. Our conversions run directly on our own private infrastructure using verified open-source libraries and native media processing engines.
Core Principles
- Native Processing: We do not rely on paid or third-party conversion APIs that could intercept or store your private files.
- Total Privacy: Files uploaded to MasterConverter are strictly accessible via signed download tokens and are permanently deleted after 60 minutes.
- Zero Tracking: No tracking scripts, no third-party ad networks, and no selling of user metadata.
- Transparent Capabilities: If our host environment cannot run a specific conversion, we report it honestly rather than returning a broken file.
Technology Architecture
MasterConverter runs on an optimized PHP 8.3 modular architecture tailored for cPanel and shared hosting environments. Media processing is handled by native GD, pure PHP PDF parsers (FPDF, FPDI, Dompdf, and Smalot\PdfParser), and FFmpeg for crystal-clear audio and video transcoding.
